What is Boarding? 

Boarding is when a pet stays at your home for an extended period, usually including overnight stays. During this time, you provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for the pet while their owner is away

Yourgi Boarding FAQs: 

Do I have to stay home the entire time?  

Not necessarily. Most Yourgi Pros continue their normal daily routine during a Boarding, but Pet Parents typically expect plenty of companionship for their pet. Always confirm the Pet Parent’s expectations in advance—especially if you plan to be away from home for several hours for work, errands, or events. Frequent updates and open communication help build trust and satisfaction.  

How does the pet get to my home?  

Pick-up and drop-off arrangements are determined before the booking. If the Pet Parent selects pick-up/drop-off and you agree, this will appear in the booking details and may include an additional fee. If not selected, the Pet Parent is responsible for transporting their pet to and from your home.  

Can I provide other services during a Boarding?  

You may only have one active Boarding or Sitting service at a time. However, you can still schedule Walks or Drop-Ins if they do not conflict with the Boarding pet’s care. Communicate with the Pet Parent before accepting additional services to ensure the pet’s needs remain your top priority.  

How is Boarding shown in my Yourgi dashboard?

Boarding services remain active in your Yourgi Pro dashboard until the scheduled end date of the service.
