Cancelation Policies for Yourgi Pro

What is the Yourgi cancellation policy for Yourgi Pros?  

As a Yourgi Pro, you can set your own cancellation notice period in the Yourgi platform. This allows you to determine how much advance notice you require from a Pet Parent to avoid a cancellation fee.

You can customize:  

  • Notice period: No cancellation notice requires, 24 hour notice required, 48 hour notice required,  72 hour notice required, 7 days notice required, 14 days notice required. 
    If a Pet Parent cancels after your set notice period, you’ll receive a 50% cancellation payout according to Yourgi’s payment terms. Refunds are determined based on the cancellation timer set by each Yourgi Pro:

If a Pet Parent cancels after your set notice period, you’ll receive a cancellation payout according to Yourgi’s payment terms. Refunds are determined based on the cancellation timer set by each Yourgi Pro: 

  • Within the Pro’s timer: If the cancellation is made within the timeframe established by the Yourgi Pro (e.g., 24 hours, 48 hours etc.), a full refund will be issued to the customers.
    Outside the Pro’s timer: If the cancellation falls outside of that window, 50% of the booking cost will be refunded.  
  • Outside the Pro’s timer: If the cancellation falls outside of that window, 50% of the booking cost will be refunded. 
  • Extended bookings: For services longer than 7 days, refunds will be capped at the equivalent of 7 days. This means that even if a booking is for more than 7 days, only 50% of up to 7 days will be withheld — no additional days beyond that will be charged. 

What happens if I need to cancel a booking?  

If you must cancel, use the Yourgi Pro app to process the cancellation. This will notify the Pet Parent. Frequent last-minute cancellations may impact your visibility in search results.

What if a Pet Parent cancels after a service has begun? 

If a Pet Parent cancels after the booking has started, you may receive partial payment based on the unused portion of the booking. This will be determined by your set cancellation policy and the service type.
