Pausing your business temporarily hides your profile and stops new bookings, making it easy to take time off without affecting customer satisfaction.


Why would I want to 'Pause my Business'?

Pausing your business is a helpful option when you know you’ll be unavailable for a period of time. It temporarily removes your profile from search results and prevents new bookings, so you won’t have to decline requests—helping maintain a great customer experience.

Here are some common reasons to pause your business:

  • You're going on vacation
  • You're traveling or away from home for an extended time
  • Your schedule is unpredictable, and you'd prefer to pause rather than manage inconsistent availability
  • You need a personal break from pet sitting

When you're ready to return, simply unpause your account to resume receiving bookings.

 

What happens when I 'Pause my Business'?

When your business is paused, customers will not be able to find your account or be able to book with you. This does not delete your account, and you can always come back and turn your business back on. 

 

How do I Pause and Resume 'Pause my Business'?


Pausing your Business

Boarding and Daycare availability can be managed separately. 

  1. Navigate to the your Profile in the top right corner
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Pause my Business 
  3. Toggle on the 'Your Business is Inactive' and Save
  4. You will see a confirmation letting you know that your business services have been paused. 

Resuming your Business

By following the same steps listed above you will be able to Resume your Business
