They are planning to leave their loved companions with you and want to feel that they are doing so with a reliable and kind person. With that in mind, here are our recommendations for how to create the best impression with your profile: 

Profile Quality Standards

To help create a safe and trustworthy experience for Pet Parents, all profiles should meet basic quality standards.

When building your profile:

Recommended

• Have a good quality and inviting main profile photo. It’s ideal if you can have a pet in the photo as well!
• Smile and show personality
• Include photos with pets when possible
• Use bright, high-quality images
• Showcase pet-friendly spaces if offering boarding or daycare
• Include photos of pets you’ve cared for
• Describe your pet care experience and love of animals in your profile bio

Not Allowed

• Mirror or bathroom selfies
• Make sure your face is clearly visible and not obstructed 
• Blurry or dark photos
• No photos of you and only photos of pets 
• Make sure you have the correct orientation on the photos (vertical) 
• Screenshots with visible borders or cropping
• Sexually suggestive or explicit content
• Profiles with only pet photos and no photos of yourself
• Excessive spelling or grammar issues that make the profile difficult to understand
