What does the platform do to verify the identity of a new Pro (email and phone number verification)?
Yourgi takes Yourgi Pro verification seriously to keep our pet parents and pets safe. When a new customer signs up, we use a quick verification process:
- One-Time Code (OTP) Verification
- Customers enter either their email or mobile number.
- A 5-digit OTP is sent to the contact method they provided.
- They must enter the code to confirm their account.
- Zip Code Confirmation
- Once verified, the platform prompts the customer to enter their zip code.
- This ensures they’re within an active service market.
- Age Confirmation
- Customers are asked to confirm they meet the minimum age requirement to use the platform.

- After completing these steps, Yourgi Pros can finish setting up their account.
